Since my last update Sjira and Ace have taken matters into there own hands and Sjira is having a new litter around the 8 th of October :( This makes a mess of my plans for the rest of the year - but the puppies are of course welcome.

My little girl "Gina" Dhen´s Ice Dream (N UCH Chateau Suduriaut Av Vettin - DK SH CH NO SH CH Benton You Betcha) Has now completed her show time in the puppy classes. She had a great run, 5 of 5 possible BOB and in every show she was placed in the BIS or BIG lineup - topping it all at her last puppyshow by becoming Best In Show Puppy at the Spaniel Club Show in Bergen.

"Gina" Dhen´s Ice Dream has shown her toes int the showring - 6 months old - BOB puppy and GROUP 4 PUPPY

I took "Clio" INT UCH SE UCH N UCH Freckles Jessica Fetcher and "Sjira" N UCH Benton You Betcha to Denmark.
We had a great time! "Clio" was BOB Veteran all four days, she also gained to res.CC. "Sjira" came home with a new tittel - she is now also a DANISH SHOW CHAMPION. They both got Excellent and CQ all four days!

Saturday 9 th April The Norwegian Spaniel had a show and I had entered "Ace" NORD UCH N VCH Norlington Dhens Norseman and my "oldie" "Clio" INT UCH SE UCH N UCH Freckles Jessica Fletcher. "Ace" was BOS and "Clio" ended as 2 nd best bitch, BOB Veteran and BIS 2 Veteran - så I had a good day :) On Sunday The Norwegian Kennel Club held an Internationl show and BOB was the same as Saturday, JWW - 08 N UCH Westaway Reds Have More Fun, BOS CACIB
SE VCH N VCH N UCH Dhen´s Harald Regent, "Ace" got 2 nd best dog and Reserve CACIB. Clio was again BOB Veteran and ended as 3 rd best bitch :) 2 nd best bitch was a daughter of "Ace" Lurhaugs Annie Oakly and she gained her Norwegian Show Championship!!!!! So I am very pleased with the weekend.

On Monday, the 7 th, "Sjira" had her first litter. 4 bitches and 3 dogs. Sadly one of the boys didn´t make it and he past away this morning. The remaing 6 are all healthy and gaining weight.

She would have been 5 years old in March, the terrible eye disease Glaukom was the reason.She was in so much pain that I only had one thing to do - best for her - terrible for me.

is "Nemi" Norw SH CH Dhen´s Obvious Obsesson of Origin "Nemi" with handler Ida !!!
# 7 on the same list is another Welsh Springer - Dhen´s Artige Martha "Borghild and owner/handler Elisabeth!

On the working list there are no Dhens dogs, but I know that many are training and I hope to see some of them on the list for 2011.

2010 has been a very good year for my dogs and dogs from Kennel Dhen´s. "Cesar" Dhen´s Harald Regent and owner Malin are the first to gain a trippel tittel, "Cesar" is now Swedish Tracking Champion, Norwegian Tracking Champion and Norwegian Show Champion. Another great achivement was when Ida and "Nemi" Norwegian SH CH D. Obvious Obsession of Origin came in as #7 in the Norwegian Agility Championship at the Nordic Winner Show in Lillestrøm in November. I don´t think a Welsh Springer has ever been placed so high before - I am so proud of my puppy owners.

My dogs have done okay in 2010. "Ace" Norlington Dhens Norseman has gained two more titles in 2010 - he is now
NORDIC SH CH - DANISH SH CH - SWEDISH SH CH - NORWEGIAN SH CH and also NORWEGIAN TRACKING CHAMPION - and he is only 3 years old. My goal in 2011is for him to gain his International title - he needs an approved hunting test and one new CACIB in Norway.

My young bitch "Sjira" Benton You Betcha gained her NORWEGIAN SH CH tittel this year and she is now mated and I hope to have a good litter out off her in week 6 - 2011. "Bibbi" INT SH CH - SWEDISH SH CH - NORWEGIAN SH CH Dhen´s Ingrid Royal has not been shown much in 2010, but I hope to show her i 2011. She will also be competing in tracking. Her mum "Clio" INT SH CH - SWEDISH SH CH - NORWEGIAN SH CH Freckles Jessica Fletcher has been shown lightly in the Veteranclass in 2010 and she has done very well - 2 X BOB veteran and 2 X BIS 2 veteran - hopefully she will be in the ring also next year, she does not know that she is 9 years old - she just loves shows.

Dhen´s Next in Line at Freckles that I co-own with Carina, Kennel Freckles Sweden, has also been shown and she has gained BOB puppy several times - she will be shown during 2011 and I am looking forward to seeing her in the show ring.

Yesterday I went to this years last show for me and my dogs. I showed "Ace" NORD UCH N VCH Norlington Dhens Norseman and for the first timne a Finnish judge gave him a CK and he ended 2 nd Best Dog, a result I am very pleased with. "Clio" INT UCH SE (u)CH N UCH Freckles Jessica Fletcher was shown in the Veteranclass and ended BOS BOB veteran and finally Best In Show 2 Veteran . The show was an all breed show so I was of course very pleased with my grand old lady.

Benton You Betcha "Sjira" needed a CC after turning two years, she got in on Stauraday at the Norwegian Spaniel Club Championship Show, judge Bob Jackson made her a NORWEGIAN SHOW CHAMPION, NUCH Benton You Betcha . That was her 12 th CC, so I am very proud of my little girl. I have also been and had her eyes checked and they were CLEAR. So now I am waiting for her to come into heat, maybe we will have puppies here at the end of the year.
"Ace" NORD UCH NVH Norlington Dhens Norseman also went to the show and ended as BOB for the same judge.
On Sunday we attended the Norwegian Kennel Clubs Championship Show and we had a good day, "Ace" was 2. best dog and "Sjira" was 3.rd best female. My veteran INT UCH SUCH NUCH Freckles Jessica Fletcher "Clio" was shown in the veteran class and recieved a Honour Prize both days

I also received great news from Malin who owns "Cesar" Dhen´s Harald Regent - he had been to Sweden and attended a tracking competion - so I am very proud to say that Kennl Dhen´s has it´s first trippel Champion

Another great weekend! Carina (Kennel Freckles) took our young girl, Dhen´s Next in Line at Freckles "Åsa" to her first show. "Åsa" did us proud - she got BOB puppy and ended as BIS 2 puppy! Not bad, she is just 5 months old. Carina had
a great day as her bitch SUCH LP1 Julita American Ramona also went BOB and BIS veteran.

I took Ace and Sjira to a show here in Norway. Todays judge was Laurent Pichard, Switzerland. Two of Aces daughter were
also at the show and they are getting on fine. Lurhaugen´s Adorable Mia "Mia" got a first prize and Lurhaugens Annie Oakly "Easy" won her class and gained her first CK, just 11 months old. She ended 2. best bitch, just beaten by my Benton You Betcha "Sjira"."Sjira" gained her 9.th CC and was BOS - only 19 months. "Ace" NORD UCH NVCH Norlington Dhens Norseman won the Championclass, got a CK and ended as BOB. The dog CC went to Casein´s Barmouth. So all in all a wonderful weekend:)

I took Ace, Bibbi and Sjira to Denmark for the International Show in Fredricia this weekend. Sjira and Bibbi didn´t please the judge enough to give them any points, but "Ace" got the lot:) He was best male, received the CC and is now a Danish Show Champion. Since he already is a Norwegian and Swedish Show Champion he gained yet another title - NORDIC SHOW CHAMPION!!!He also was awarded the CACIB and ended BOS!!!! His offical name is now:
